Festival Fashion

Walking around in muddy fields and spending your nights in a tent may not sound very glamorous, but a single glance at this years Glastonbury crowd would make you think otherwise and certainly kicked off festival season with a bang! Mud and tents aside, it’s the fashion that caught our eye, from classic wellies and denim cut offs, to new and exciting looks, there was plenty of style inspiration, perfect for our own festival wardrobes!

Looking as equally glamorous off stage as she did on stage, Rita Ora broke classic festival style rules and wowed us with not one, but two unexpected outfit choices. She looked modern and chic in a white hat and figure hugging white and mustard dress, whilst for her second look opted for a right on trend two piece in the form of a matching lilac crop top and skirt. With her outfits a success, they couldn’t possibly be festival ready without a little bling and she did not let us down! Accessorised with stacks of bracelets, from chunky to delicate, Rita took this festival fashion favourite to the next level in statement gold. For a look bold enough to rival even Rita’s style, add this statement silver and gold plated bracelet from Petali Di Amore to your look for a dash of instant glamour and customise with other bracelets for a contemporary twist on a classic festival must have.

Ever since festivals began denim has been the material of choice.  It’s versatile, comfy and durable so it is no wonder that this season we’re seeing the denim trend grow even bigger. From coloured denim, patterned denim and the return of double denim, we are spoilt for choice.

Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Cressida Bona embraced the denim trend looking effortlessly stylish in 90’s inspired denim dungarees. For a quirky twist she finished her look off with crisp white high tops and a pair of neon green sunglasses. For a Cressida inspired take on a denim outfit, team a pair of wellies with a cute denim dress and complete the look with this vibrant green watch from Adidas

Another festival favourite comes from contrasting a vintage dress or some feminine florals against edgy accessories. Sienna Miller often favoures this style and this year she teamed a floaty floral dress with chunky studded biker boots. Our new brand Mikey London specialises in unique and glamorous jewellery and this sparkling crystal skull ring is the perfect statement piece to add a little sultry twist to this look.

What festivals are you heading to this Summer and what style will you be sporting? We can’t wait to dig out our wellies, floral prints and edgy accessories for a festival style to be proud of!

We’ll see you there! x

  1. Its quite obvious that different festivals need different jewellery. Even with diamond jewellery ,its meant to be designed occasionally.

  2. Extra IncomeIf you are new to the headband bandwagon, and you still think that they are too bold, you can start off with basic headbands. They are the ones which come in neutral colors like shades of white, black, gray and brown. It’s easy to wear them with ANY dress code.
